Logarithmic Filtering

Q How do I reduce my observation data and retain 20 observations per log cycle time?

  1. In v4.0 and higher, choose Edit>Wells>Modify; in older versions, choose Edit>Obs. Well>Edit for pumping tests or Edit>Slug Test Well for slug tests.
  2. Click the Observations tab (v3.0+) or the Edit button (older versions).
  3. Click Filters to view filter options.
  4. In the Time Filters, check the option for Retain change in log time >= minimum and enter a value of 0.05 (=1/20). Click OK.
  5. Click OK to proceed with the filtering operation.
  6. AQTESOLV displays the number of observations filtered and the number of observations retained. Click OK.
